The Provinciale Industriële Hogeschool consulted him to lecture on intellectual property and labour law to engineers. For many years he has been teaching at this school. He also collaborates on different seminars in the field of intellectual property and labour law (e.a. the bar exam classes) and has published articles, namely on unfair trade practices and advertising and "Beslag inzake namaak" "Saisie-contrefaçon" (Anton Pillar orders).
André D'HALLUIN speaks Dutch, French, English and German and understands Italian.
In 1999, he started his own law firm in Kortrijk, today called D'HALLUIN - VAN REMOORTEL. Four fulltime attorneys now look after its clients’ interests.
